Who we are
Foren’s Kitchen is a trading name of Aldran Group Ltd, company number 16847513, registered in England and Wales. Registered office: 53 Eden Crescent, Leeds, LS4 2TS.
Email hello@forenskitchen.co.uk, or write to Aldran Group Ltd, 53 Eden Crescent, Leeds, LS4 2TS.
How it works
We cook in weekly batches. Pre-orders for a delivery week open on the Monday before and close that Friday at 23:59 (UK time); the exact dates for each week are shown when you order, and they’re the ones that count.
Every delivery day, Monday to Friday, you get two different dishes, delivered together in the morning. That’s 10 different dishes a week. The menu is the same for everyone and is published each week; we can’t swap dishes.
All our ingredients come from halal sources.
Plans and prices
- Weekly: £60 for one week (10 meals).
- 4 weeks: £189 for four delivery weeks in a row (40 meals, £4.73 a meal).
Free delivery within 3 miles of our Leeds kitchen. Delivery is £5 a week from 3 to 6 miles and £10 a week from 6 to 10 miles. We don’t deliver plans beyond 10 miles by road. The delivery fee is per week, so it’s multiplied by the number of weeks.
The price you see at checkout, before you pay, is the total you pay.
Paying
You pay by bank transfer to Aldran Group Ltd, using the order reference we give you (it starts FK-). We hold your place for 24 hours, or until that week’s cut-off if that’s sooner. If the transfer hasn’t arrived by then, the order expires and the place is released.
If your transfer arrives after an order has expired, we’ll still place it if there’s room that week. If there isn’t, we’ll send the money back.
Friend codes, promo codes and credit
A friend code takes £5 off a weekly order or £10 off a 4-week plan. It works on a first order only (one per person and per home, whichever account it’s used from), can’t be your own, and can’t be used on gifts. First-order promo codes follow the same rule.
Friend codes and promo codes can’t be combined unless the code says so. Any credit on your account comes off your next order automatically.
Skipping a week
On a 4-week plan you can skip a week in your account until that week’s cut-off. The skipped week moves to the end of your plan, so you still get four weeks.
Cancelling and refunds
You can cancel a weekly order in your account before its cut-off, and we’ll refund what you paid by bank transfer.
After the cut-off we can’t refund, because we’ve bought the ingredients and started cooking for you. The usual 14-day right to cancel doesn’t apply to food, which goes off quickly (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, regulation 28(1)(d)).
A paid 4-week plan can’t be cancelled in your account; you can skip weeks instead. If you need to cancel one, contact us.
This doesn’t affect your statutory rights. If something is wrong with your food, tell us as soon as you can.
Delivery
We deliver to the address on your order, Monday to Friday mornings. On the morning, your account shows the round live, and we message you when your food is on its way and when it’s at your door, with a photo.
Please give us a delivery note if the door is hard to find or there’s a safe place to leave it.
If a delivery day is missed or cancelled, we add a credit for that day of a fifth of your week’s food price (£12.00 on a weekly plan, £9.45 on a 4-week plan), and it comes off your next order.
Allergens
Each dish lists the 14 major allergens it contains, checked against the recipe before the dish goes on a menu. If you tell us your allergies at checkout, we’ll show you which days contain them before you pay. See Allergens. If you have a severe allergy, contact us before ordering.
Events
Boxed meals start at 10 portions with at least 7 days’ notice; a live stand starts at 50 portions with at least 14 days’ notice. Your date is booked when your 50% deposit arrives, and the balance is due 3 days before the event. An unpaid booking holds the date for a short time, shown on your booking.
If we can’t cater your event, we’ll tell you and refund what you’ve paid.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
